PROJECT
DETAILS:
Fox Hill Builders was brought
in by the owner to restore and expand this 1903
colonial to its former beauty. Every aspect of
the house was involved, from the stucco exterior
applied on the addition to match the existing surface
to the expansive installation of windows to maximize
water views. Because of the sandy soil content,
a grade-beam pile foundation system was built for
the new section that houses a master bedroom suite
with terrace and exercise area over a spacious
family room. Built-up roof shingles were used across
the structure for a unifying, authentic period
look.
